Starting 15 November 2024, Cinema Mac Mahon in Paris will be showing a Lino Ventura retrospective with 40(!) Lino films, including Espion leve-toi!
Japanese Blu-ray release
On 30 August 2024, Espion leve-toi (遅れてきた死神) will be released in Japan for the first time on Blu-ray and DVD. Presumably the same HD transfer as the two previous Blu-ray releases (Pidax, Germany 2019 / StudioCanal, France 2023) was used – to be confirmed.

Espion lève-toi was released in Zürich 40 years ago today. It was shown as “The Zurich Connection” at the Le Paris cinema. It remained there for five weeks and then moved to the smaller Radium cinema for a further three weeks.
In Swiss cinemas 40 years ago today
Espion lève-toi was already screened in the French-speaking part of Switzerland from 28 January 1982, just one day after the French premiere. Confirmed by the newspaper listing for the Rex cinema in Neuchâtel.
